Job Title: Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

Location: Ipswich Office, IP1

Salary: Up to £45,000!

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates
  • Complete Capital Gains Tax returns and Inheritance Tax accounts
  • Handle Trust Registration filing requirements
  • Manage HM Revenue & Customs enquiries with confidence
  • Support exciting tax advisory projects
  • Mentor junior team members and help shape their development
  • Manage your own client portfolio with full accountability

What I'm Looking For -

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years recent practice experience in personal tax
  • ATT qualification (or above) - study support available for CTA progression
  • Strong client portfolio management experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and deadline management
  • High ICT literacy (MS Office, tax software packages)
  • Outstanding communication skills for client-facing work
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Experience with budget control and billing
  • Knowledge of CCH software
  • Mixed tax role background
