Salary: Up to £50,000!

What You'll Be Doing:

As Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you'll handle both compliance and advisory work, including:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax computations and CT600s
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring timely HMRC submissions
  • Handling client tax queries and HMRC correspondence
  • Providing routine tax advisory services under senior guidance
  • Calculating tax liabilities and advising clients on obligations
  • Attending client meetings and preparing comprehensive meeting notes
  • Supporting business development activities

Growth Opportunities:

  • Develop specialisms in insolvencies, academies, or not-for-profit sectors
  • Delegate and review work of junior team members
  • Take on increasing responsibility for client relationships

What I'm Looking For -

Essential:

  • Currently working towards ACA/CTA qualifications
  • Strong technical tax knowledge with ability to apply practical solutions
  • Proactive approach to staying current with legislative changes
  • Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in client management and business development

Desirable:

  • Experience in specialist sectors (insolvencies/academies/not-for-profit)
  • Proven track record in team leadership and work delegation
