They are currently looking for a motivated Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to join their established tax team in a mixed tax role based in the Manchester office. Job Title: Tax Senior - Assistant Manager

Location: Manchester Office, M21

Salary: Up to £55,000!

The Role:

In this varied and hands-on role, you will:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
• Review personal and corporate tax returns and capital gains tax computations.
• Handle high-level advisory projects including M&A, R&D claims, share schemes, and estates/trusts.
• Liaise with HMRC on enquiries and investigations.
• Support, mentor, and develop junior team members.
• Take part in business development and client relationship management.

The Individual:

• Ideally ATT/CTA qualified (or qualified by experience).
• Experienced in both personal and corporate tax within a practice environment.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
• Tech-savvy (experience with Microsoft and TaxCalc is helpful, but training is provided).
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• A team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting others.
