The firm works with an impressive client base including high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), non-doms, trusts, family offices, and private business owners. The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong Private Client Tax Manager who thrives in complex advisory situations and enjoys building trusted relationships with sophisticated clients.

As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-level advisory services, mentoring junior staff, and supporting Partners on technically demanding projects. You will also oversee a portfolio of compliance work, but the emphasis will be on advisory.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical tax advice on a broad range of private client matters, including:

    • UK residence and domicile

    • Non-dom structuring and remittance basis

    • Trusts (UK and offshore)

    • Inheritance tax and succession planning

    • Capital gains tax and asset disposals

  • Review and manage complex personal tax returns for HNWIs, entrepreneurs, and international individuals

  • Support Partners in developing client planning strategies and delivering bespoke advisory solutions

  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate key updates internally and externally

  • Mentor and review the work of junior staff, contributing to their technical development

  • Maintain strong client relationships, often acting as the main point of contact for technical queries



What We're Looking For

  • CTA-qualified (or ACA/ACCA with significant tax experience)

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation with a proven track record of advising on complex matters

  • Experience working with HNWIs, non-doms, and trusts in a professional services setting

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax issues clearly

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to spot planning opportunities

  • Experience using tax software (e.g., CCH, Alphatax) is desirable
