About the Role - Corporate Tax (Bristol)
As a Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of clients ranging from OMBs and SMEs to larger corporates, providing a mixture of compliance and advisory services. Working closely with tax managers and partners, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely delivery and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns
Identify tax planning opportunities and assist on advisory projects, including R&D, restructuring, and group tax
Liaise with HMRC and clients regarding queries, compliance matters, and disclosures
Assist in coaching and reviewing work of junior team members
Maintain and grow strong client relationships, becoming a trusted point of contact
Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation, applying knowledge to client situations
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a corporate tax role in practice.
ATT, ACA, or CTA qualified or part-qualified (study support available)
Strong understanding of UK corporate tax compliance, with interest in developing advisory exposure
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple client relationships
A team player who is proactive, reliable, and client-focused
