Audit Manager - £65,000-£70,000 (70% Audit 30% Accounts)

The Opportunity
My client is looking to appoint a commercially astute Audit Manager to join their London office. This is a highly visible role offering hybrid working, a diverse client base (ranging from large corporates to family-run businesses), and real progression potential for the right candidate.
The breakdown of the role is roughly 70% audit / 30% accounts, and you'll be reporting directly to a Partner. You'll also supervise junior team members and contribute to the growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements from planning to completion
Review financial statements for accuracy (UK GAAP/IFRS)
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring audit, accounts, and tax compliance are delivered to a high standard
Support and mentor junior staff; contribute to internal training and development
Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and support business growth
Stay up to date with accounting/audit regulation changes
Collaborate with internal teams across the firm
The Ideal Candidate
ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years' post-qualified experience
Strong background in audit and accounts preparation
Experience managing a client portfolio and supervising staff
Knowledge of Caseware and Alphatax is a bonus
Comfortable liaising with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
Self-starter with a commercial mindset and excellent communication skills
