About You - Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of direct client-facing experience in professional services
- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred, or relevant financial planning degree/certification
- Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining client relationships
Professional Credentials & Licensing:
- Clean regulatory record (U4/background check)
- Series 65 license required within 120 days of employment (study support provided)
- Advanced certifications preferred: CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or PFS (Personal Financial Specialist)

Position Overview - Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for assigned client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Lead independent client meetings both in-person and virtually via video conferencing
- Conduct comprehensive client discovery sessions to understand goals, risk tolerance, and financial situations
- Maintain detailed client communication records within our CRM platform
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate multi-disciplinary service delivery
- Some travel may be required for client meetings and business development activities
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop mastery of the firm's investment philosophy and understand full range of available investment solutions
- Create, analyze, and present comprehensive financial plans using industry-leading software including eMoney, Nitrogen, MoneyGuide Pro, Orion, and Holistiplan
- Design personalized Investment Policy Statements tailored to each client's unique circumstances
- Develop holistic investment strategies that align with clients' long-term objectives
- Determine optimal asset allocation based on thorough analysis of client needs, risk tolerance, and capacity
Portfolio Management Support:
- Partner with Portfolio Management team to implement investment recommendations
- Gain fundamental understanding of trading operations and execution
- Assist with portfolio rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, and other portfolio optimization strategies
- Monitor portfolio performance and communicate results to clients
Operational Excellence:
- Participate in client billing reviews and collaborate with billing department to ensure accurate fee calculation and collection
- Support retirement plan servicing for corporate clients
- Serve as liaison between advisory clients and various service departments
- Engage actively in firm's strategic planning initiatives and business development efforts
- Contribute to continuous improvement of client service processes and procedures
Professional Development:
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Work toward advanced certifications and continuing education requirements
- Serve as resource and mentor for other team members
