What you'll be doing

• Acting as the gatekeeper for financial accuracy - overseeing balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, and monthly/quarterly closes
• Partnering with audit teams (internal & external) to ensure compliance while streamlining processes
• Producing financial reports that tell the story behind the numbers - translating data into actionable insights for leadership
• Supporting new process implementation, identifying efficiencies, and championing best practice across finance operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree (HBO+) in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in a financial analysis or accounting role (ideally within retail, FMCG, or a fast-moving commercial environment)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
• Strong MS Excel / MS Office skills - ERP knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch & English
• Adaptable, collaborative, and driven with the confidence to work in a dynamic, changing environment
