Job Title: Private Client Tax Assistant Manager or Manager (title offered is dependent on experience)

Location: City of London

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits!

My client is looking for a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager or Private Client Tax Manager that will work with an exceptionally varied international HNWI client base spanning multiple jurisdictions, offering the breadth and complexity that ambitious tax professionals crave. From wealth structuring and domicile planning to cross-border estate planning and offshore trust matters, you'll handle sophisticated advisory work that will genuinely stretch and develop your expertise.

The Role:

Manager Level:

  • Lead delivery of tax advisory and compliance for UK and international HNWI clients
  • Provide specialist advice on estate planning, IHT planning, wealth structuring, and domicile issues
  • Navigate complex HMRC investigations and disputes
  • Identify tax optimization opportunities and drive strategic client conversations
  • Mentor junior team members while working alongside partners

Assistant Manager Level:

  • Manage personal tax compliance for sophisticated UK and international HNWI individuals
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
  • Deliver technical tax advice on estate planning, IHT, wealth structuring, and domicile matters
  • Review specialist computations including offshore trust tax pools
  • Develop your advisory skills in a supportive environment

The Perfect Individual Requirements / Qualities:

  • CTA qualified with excellent technical knowledge (post-qualified experience for Manager level)
  • Experience working with complex international HNWI clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - essential for client-facing work
