Role: Tax Manager - Property Focus

Reports to: Tax Partners
Working Hours: Standard office hours 9:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

This expanding practice serves a diverse portfolio ranging from owner-managed enterprises to complex corporate structures. The role demands strong client engagement, collaborative teamwork, and consistent delivery against project timelines.



Core Responsibilities



Client Portfolio Management

  • Oversee corporation tax compliance workflows for diverse corporate client base, encompassing both individual entities and complex group structures
  • Deliver strategic tax guidance to partners and clients across multiple areas including:
    • Entity structuring (corporate, LLP, and alternative formats)
    • Corporate reorganization initiatives
    • Multi-entity tax optimization strategies
    • Cross-border tax considerations
    • Venture capital relief mechanisms
    • Corporate and real estate transaction support
    • Tax due diligence reporting services


Strategic Advisory & Business Development

  • Proactively identify tax optimization opportunities within client portfolios and collaborate with partners on implementation strategies
  • Maintain oversight of billing processes and work-in-progress management
  • Lead team development initiatives including direct line management of junior professionals and participation in staff development, training programs, and performance review processes
  • Actively contribute to practice growth through networking participation and potential involvement in specialized sector groups

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex client portfolios including group structures
  • CTA qualification strongly preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Office suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Alpha tax software experience advantageous
