The Opportunity


Our client is looking for an accomplished Audit Senior to join their growing audit team. Reporting to an Audit Manager, you will lead complex audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and deliver outstanding client service. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work and client-site visits, with a focus on leveraging technology and collaboration to achieve excellence. Key Responsibilities


  • Lead external audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.

  • Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing mentorship to support their professional development.

  • Utilize advanced technological tools to deliver efficient, high-quality audit services.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and budgets while upholding rigorous standards.

  • Build trusted client relationships through effective communication and strategic advisory services.


Skills and Qualifications


We are seeking candidates with:


  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification.

  • Experience: Proven expertise in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice, with a strong track record of leading external audits and preparing accounts under UK GAAP.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with clients and senior staff.

  • Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on mentoring junior colleagues.

  • Risk Awareness: Strong understanding of key audit risks and the judgment to seek assistance when necessary.

  • Drive: A proactive approach to delivering high-quality service and taking ownership of outcomes.
