What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for a portfolio of client accounts, reviewing work and ensuring quality
- Support directors and senior managers with client relationships and business development
- Prepare statutory financial statements for a variety of companies and organisations
- Manage corporation tax returns alongside personal tax compliance work
- Oversee sole trader and partnership accounts, including associated tax filings
- Work with leading cloud accounting platforms, providing digital solutions to clients
- Take ownership of budgeting, billing, and recovery for assigned clients
- Guide, coach, and develop junior staff members
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value
What We're Looking For
- ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience
- Solid practice background with good technical knowledge of accounting and tax
- Understanding of UK accounting standards and corporate tax requirements
- Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems is essential
- Exposure to personal tax work would be an advantage
- Strong people management and client management skills
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
