Position Overview


Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join their expanding tax practice. This position presents an excellent opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of corporate clients, contribute to strategic advisory initiatives, and play a key role in developing the next generation of tax professionals. Core Responsibilities



Tax Compliance & Technical Expertise

  • Review and prepare corporate tax computations and returns for entities of varying complexity, including multinational groups and holding company structures
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all corporate tax obligations, maintaining compliance with current legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee critical filing deadlines and payment schedules across the entire corporate client portfolio
  • Stay current with evolving tax legislation and communicate impacts to clients and internal teams


Advisory & Strategic Planning

  • Identify and develop tax optimization opportunities through comprehensive analysis of client structures and transactions
  • Participate in pre-year-end tax planning sessions, presenting strategic recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on complex advisory engagements and special projects
  • Contribute to the development of innovative tax strategies and service offerings


Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships through proactive communication and superior service delivery
  • Serve as primary point of contact for designated corporate clients, managing expectations and project timelines
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions with confidence and clarity
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and cross-selling within existing client relationships


Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical supervision to junior tax professionals
  • Review work quality and provide constructive feedback to support team member growth
  • Assist in training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the tax department
  • Contribute to talent development strategies and succession planning efforts


Practice Development

  • Support business development activities including proposal preparation and client pitches
  • Participate in networking events and professional organizations to enhance firm visibility
  • Contribute to thought leadership through technical articles, seminars, or speaking engagements
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements and efficiency initiatives


Required Qualifications & Experience



Technical Competencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with complex tax computations, group relief, and international tax considerations
  • Previous exposure to tax advisory work, including restructuring, M&A, or strategic tax planning
  • Understanding of accounting standards and their interaction with tax requirements

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with excellent project management capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work with strong initiative-taking abilities


Technology & Systems

  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and systems (CCH experience preferred but comprehensive training will be provided)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for complex financial modeling and analysis
  • Adaptability to new technology platforms and digital transformation initiatives


Professional Development

  • Relevant professional qualifications (CTA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) preferred
