Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join an established public practice firm in London. This full-time permanent role offers excellent progression for professionals who thrive on variety, earning £55,000 - £65,000.

What You'll Be Doing
- Operate as a key member of client service teams, maintaining regular communication with diverse businesses
- Provide technically accurate, clear tax advice on loss relief, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief and capital allowances
- Support work on group reorganisations, shareholder restructures, international tax matters and acquisitions & disposals
- Review complex corporation tax returns for groups, international and larger clients
- Collaborate with transactions teams on tax due diligence projects and restructuring advisory work
- Prepare technical tax analysis and contribute to written client reports
- Identify tax-related risks and opportunities across the firm's service lines
- Coach and provide guidance to junior team members
- Participate in business development and client pitching activities

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA (or part-qualified CTA)
- Accountancy practice background with strong corporate tax knowledge
- Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio
- Understanding of UK compliance processes and varied client types including groups
- Knowledge of R&D tax relief, capital allowances and group restructures
- Understanding of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, VAT and stamp duty/SDLT
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience coaching junior team members
