Location: Northern New Jersey Reports to: Wealth Management Team & Partners About the Role


Our client is seeking a CPA-licensed Tax Senior Associate / Senior to join their wealth management firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career tax professional to work closely with high-net-worth individuals and their families, providing comprehensive tax planning and compliance services as part of an integrated wealth management approach.



Required Qualifications

  • CPA License (active and in good standing)
  • 2-5 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation
  • Proven experience preparing individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps)
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


Key Responsibilities



Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and review individual income tax returns for high-net-worth clients
  • Prepare business tax returns including partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations
  • Manage tax filing deadlines and ensure timely delivery of all tax obligations
  • Coordinate with external advisors including attorneys and other CPAs


Tax Planning & Advisory

  • Assist in developing proactive tax strategies for clients
  • Support year-end tax planning initiatives
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities through careful review of client financial situations
  • Provide tax estimates and projections


Client Service

  • Build strong relationships with clients and respond to tax-related inquiries
  • Communicate complex tax concepts in clear, accessible language
  • Collaborate with wealth advisors to provide integrated financial planning
  • Participate in client meetings as needed


Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with wealth management team to understand client goals
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial plans
  • Stay current on tax law changes and share knowledge with the team
