The Role


As Tax Manager within the Tax Accounting Group, you'll be at the heart of complex, high-value engagements that combine technical expertise with client relationship management.
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading tax audits on major client engagements, working closely with audit teams and tax partners
  • Providing specialist tax accounting advisory on complex provisions, carve-outs, and acquisition accounting
  • Acting as technical expert for tax accounting queries across the firm
  • Managing project delivery, teams, and client relationships
  • Coaching and developing junior team members
  • Building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders


Who We're Looking For


Your Experience:

  • Strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing with genuine interest in this specialism
  • Solid knowledge of tax accounting under FRS102 and IFRS (US GAAP experience a bonus)
  • Corporate tax advisory and compliance experience across diverse clients
  • Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and deliver to deadlines
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Comfortable engaging with senior management and key stakeholders


Your Qualifications:

  • CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent)


Your Skills:

  • Excellent technical tax accounting knowledge
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Natural coach and team developer
  • Clear communicator who builds rapport easily
  • Takes ownership and drives results
