Job Title: Corporate Tax Assistant Manager (Manager grade also available dependent on experience)
Location: City of Bristol, BS1
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

The Role:
As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will join the Corporate & International team working across diverse clients and sectors. You'll blend corporate tax compliance and accounting with increasingly sophisticated advisory projects - exactly the mix needed to transition into full M&A tax work.
Your Work Will Include:
- Corporate tax compliance and tax accounting (the foundation)
- Corporate and shareholder reorganisations
- Acquisition and sale structuring
- Tax due diligence on live transactions
- Demergers and corporate simplifications
- Loss relief planning and group relief strategies
- Corporate interest restriction calculations
- CFC returns and international tax matters
- Tax treatment of deal fees, exceptional items, and complex provisions
- Corporate and deferred tax workings/disclosures (including consolidated groups)
- Direct client and intermediary contact
- Project management on advisory engagements
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities for other tax services
The Individual:
- Minimum 3 years in a tax role with exposure to corporate tax advisory projects
- ATT/CTA and/or ACA qualified
- Strong corporate tax compliance and accounting knowledge
- Hunger to develop M&A and transactional skills
- Project management and client relationship skills
- UK right to work
- Alphatax experience preferred but not essential
- Proactive mindset for business development
