A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced, client-facing accountant to join their expanding Worcestershire team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio, play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services.

The Client Manager Role in Worcestershire
- Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and individuals, acting as first point of contact
- Reviewing statutory accounts, sole trader accounts and corporation tax returns
- Involvement in personal tax compliance and broader private client matters
- Drafting client advice with support from senior leadership
- Liaising with clients on deadlines, information requirements and ad-hoc queries
- Supporting delivery across accounts, tax, VAT, payroll and company secretarial matters
- Helping clients interpret results, improve controls and implement suitable accounting software
- Coaching and supporting the development of senior associates and supervisors
About You
- ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in practice
- Proven experience managing your own client portfolio
- Strong technical grounding across accounts, tax and financial reporting
- Confident communicator, comfortable advising and reassuring clients
- Tech-savvy with solid experience in Xero (Iris, Alpha, QuickBooks or Sage advantageous)
- Self-motivated, analytical and able to perform accurately under pressure
- A collaborative team player with the ability to mentor junior colleagues
