Job Title: Audit Semi Senior
Location: Finchley, North London
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
Work Pattern: 5 days Onsite
Job Overview:
You will play a key role in supporting audit engagements under the guidance of senior team members. The role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years' previous audit experience looking to advance their expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for assisting in audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements, and contributing to high-quality audit delivery for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning and performing audit procedures for a range of diverse clients
- Undertake audit testing and document results accurately according to firm and regulatory standards
- Prepare draft financial statements and working papers with oversight
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries
- Support junior team members and foster a cooperative work environment
- Meet deadlines and maintain firm quality standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
- 2-3 years of external audit experience in a UK practice environment
- Solid understanding of UK accounting and auditing standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office
