Audit Assistant Manager
We are seeking a motivated and qualified Audit Senior to join our team based in Watford. This role plays a key part in supporting the firm's growth by leading audit assignments and contributing to team development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit engagements under the supervision of a Manager or Principal.
Manage on-site audit teams and delegate tasks effectively.
Oversee audit planning and completion processes.
Prepare management letters and other relevant documentation.
Provide guidance, supervision, and on-the-job training for junior team members.
Support Audit Managers with planning, file reviews, and other delegated responsibilities.
Client Portfolio
The role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including:
Mid-sized corporations and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Larger corporate groups, including those with overseas subsidiaries.
UK-based subsidiaries of international parent companies.
Specialist sectors including:
Pension schemes
Charities and not-for-profit organisations
Solicitors
FCA-regulated entities
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
ACA or ACCA qualification.
A minimum of 2 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
Proficiency with IT and experience using accounting/audit software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Employment Details
Full-time position (Monday to Friday) with hybrid working options.
Right to work in the UK is required.
