Job Title: Employment Tax Manager
Location: City of London - Hybrid Working (2 days in office, 3 days from home)
Salary: £62,000 - £73,000 + Benefits!
The Role:
You will play a key role within a fast-growing Employment Tax team, supporting the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients. The role focuses on UK employment tax matters, including employment related securities, PAYE, NIC, benefits-in-kind, and off-payroll working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver employment tax compliance services for a wide-ranging client base, including PAYE health checks, benefits reporting (P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements), and the compliance aspects of the Construction Industry Scheme.
  • Manage the employment related securities compliance process
  • Draft technical advisory emails/reports for clients on employment tax matters, including but not limited to employment related securities, employment status, off-payroll working (IR35), termination payments, and benefits-in-kind structuring.
  • Support senior management in providing strategic advice to clients, identifying risks, opportunities, and practical solutions in complex employment tax scenarios.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment tax legislation and HMRC guidance, proactively sharing insights with clients and colleagues.
  • Assist with client meetings, presentations, and training sessions, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal writing, attending networking events, and helping seniors in the team identify new opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
  • Support junior team members through coaching and technical guidance, promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Employment related securities tax knowledge is desirable
  • ATT qualified or equivalent
  • Experience of dealing with HMRC
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of using MS Excel to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data
  • Experience of monthly payroll processing (desired but not essential)
  • Organised and motivated
  • A driven person who will take ownership of tasks and drive to completion
