Account Senior
Main Responsibilities - Based in Edgware
Accounts
Work with limited companies, LLPs, sole traders, partnerships, and pension schemes
Complete planning sections in line with internal guidelines
Prepare and monitor budgets
Produce accounts from incomplete records or client trial balances (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
Liaise directly with clients and resolve queries
Review work with a supervisor and finalise files, including reporting packs
Audit
Conduct internal and external audits
Manage planning, controls and risk assessments, and set materiality levels and sample sizes
Perform fieldwork testing, including stocktake attendance and other on-site verifications
Carry out analytical reviews
Complete audit files to required standards
Tax
Prepare personal tax returns
Prepare VAT returns
Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
Prepare P11Ds
General
Undertake occasional advisory work
Manage correspondence from clients
Review the work of junior team members, resolve technical queries, and ensure files are complete before manager review
Provide effective on-the-job training for semi-seniors and juniors
Maintain awareness of additional services that may be relevant to clients
Salary & Location
This role is based in Edgware, offering a competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications and Skills
ACCA/ACA qualified (preferred)
Degree in accounting or finance (preferred)
At least 18 months' post-qualification experience
Strong and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards
Experience working with owner-managed businesses across various industries
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Line 50, IRIS, CCH, VT Transactions, Xero, Virtual Cabinet and QuickBooks
