The role
As US Corporate Tax Specialist, you'll take ownership of US corporate tax work for a portfolio of UK and international clients with US exposure. The work is a blend of advisory and compliance, including federal corporate tax matters, structuring, and coordination around state taxes where required.
You'll operate as the go-to US tax expert, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in shaping how the US tax offering evolves as the business grows.
This is not a support role. It's a platform role, with clear succession planning and the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership position over time.
What they're looking for
- Strong experience in US corporate tax from a boutique or specialist US tax practice
- Confident operating autonomously and owning work end to end
- Solid technical grounding in US federal corporate tax, with state tax exposure beneficial
- EA, CPA, JD, or equivalent experience preferred
- Ambition to step into a longer-term leadership role rather than stay purely technical
