Salary: £60,000 to £70,000
We're supporting a fast-growing, internationally focused marketing business operating across digital performance channels. With continued expansion and increasing operational complexity, the business is now looking to appoint a Finance Manager to strengthen its finance capability and support the next phase of growth.
This Finance Manager role offers close exposure to senior leadership, broad responsibility across reporting and controls, and the opportunity to shape finance processes in a commercially driven environment.
The role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Manager will take ownership of core financial reporting while partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, group consolidations and supporting schedules
- Statutory reporting in line with UK GAAP
- Delivery of clear financial commentary and variance analysis
- Maintaining and improving internal controls as the business scales
- Leading the annual audit process and acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Supporting entity structuring and new business initiatives
- Driving improvements in systems, processes and automation
- Partnering with non-finance teams to support commercial decision-making
Background we're looking for
This role will suit a Finance Manager with a strong technical grounding and a hands-on mindset.
You're likely to bring:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Training gained within a reputable practice environment, ideally with exposure to audits and complex groups
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, commercial setting
- The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
Experience within digital, marketing or online-led businesses would be advantageous but is not essential.
Location & working style
Hybrid working model, based in St. Albans, with regular time in the office.
