Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sales and logistics coordinator to join our clients south Bedford site and oversee all UK-related commercial activities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Account Manager, you will manage the administrative processes for sales operations, including international transport coordination and customs clearance of equipment units.
Key Responsibilities as a sales and logistics coordinator
- Review and manage commercial contracts
- Verify customer insurance policies and conduct annual renewals
- Maintain and update the ERP database
- Process contract setup, monitoring and invoicing within the ERP system
- Ensure alignment between invoicing, accounting and workshop operations
- Track customer payments and manage outstanding receivables (working closely with accounting and sales teams)
- Issue purchase orders to sister companies and third-party suppliers
- Monitor delivery schedules and invoicing timelines
- Negotiate transport costs and provide estimates to the sales team
- Coordinate end-to-end goods transportation, including scheduling with customers and sister companies, arranging collections, preparing all transport and import/export documentation, and tracking shipments
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Transport, Logistics, International Trade or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of customs regulations (including HS codes), transport legislation and international trade rules
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems and SUN software

- Competitive salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
