Bookkeeper

We are partnering with a well-established CPA firm that advises high-net-worth individuals, families, and private entities. They are looking to add a Bookkeeper to their Family Wealth / Private Client team - a role that sits at the heart of complex, interesting personal finances.

This is not a high-volume, transactional position. It's a trusted, long-term role supporting private clients, family groups, trusts, and related entities, where accuracy, discretion, and relationships genuinely matter.







Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for high-net-worth individuals, families, and associated entities

  • Process and reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports including balance sheets and cash flow summaries

  • Support trust and estate accounting, including tracking distributions and beneficiary activity

  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and personal expense management

  • Work closely with internal tax and advisory teams to support personal and entity tax compliance

  • Ensure records are maintained in line with accounting standards, firm policies, and client requirements

  • Manage sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality

  • Support year-end close and prepare schedules for tax preparation and audits







About You

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a CPA firm, family office, or private client environment

  • Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting

  • Comfortable working with multiple entities and complex account structures

  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or similar) and Excel

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Professional, discreet, and client-focused

  • Confident communicator who enjoys being a trusted point of contact







Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to trust and estate accounting

  • Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or family groups

  • Bookkeeping certification or relevant accounting qualification
