The opportunity

As the lead finance partner to a major business unit, you will influence growth strategy, investment decisions and performance management across a complex, data-rich operation. The Director of FP&A will work closely with senior commercial leaders, providing insight that genuinely shapes direction rather than post-rationalises it.

What you'll be doing

• Owning budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for a high-growth business unit
• Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior operational and commercial leaders
• Building driver-based models to support scenario planning and resource allocation
• Leading monthly and quarterly performance reviews with clear, commercial insight
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities that impact profitability and growth
• Supporting pricing strategy, vendor negotiations and investment cases
• Leading and developing a high-performing, international FP&A team
• Improving planning tools, automation and data quality to reduce manual reporting

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in FP&A, strategic finance or corporate finance at a senior level
• A background in scaling, technology-enabled or data-driven service businesses
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing outcomes
• Strong exposure to American markets and stakeholders
• Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones
• Advanced financial modelling capability and strong systems knowledge
• A practical, detail-focused approach with the confidence to operate at pace
