A well-established professional services firm is expanding its central finance team and is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Biller to support partners and fee-earning teams across the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows Elite 3E properly and is comfortable owning the billing process end to end, including complex and high-value invoices. The role is offered on a hybrid basis and is based in London.
The role
You'll act as the main billing contact for a defined group of partners, taking responsibility for accuracy, timeliness and recovery. This is not a processing role. You'll be trusted to handle complex billing scenarios, manage WIP queries and work closely with senior stakeholders to keep things moving smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the full billing cycle for allocated partners and teams
- Handling complex and group billing arrangements using Elite 3E
- Acting as the escalation point for billing and WIP queries
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end billing deadlines
- Maintaining high standards of data accuracy and compliance
- Advising partners on billing best practice and recovery
What we're looking for
- Strong billing experience within professional services or accountancy
- Advanced working knowledge of Elite 3E
- Solid understanding of WIP, recovery and VAT
- Confidence working directly with partners and senior fee earners
- Calm under pressure, particularly around peak billing periods
