Law Associate - Tax Disputes & Investigations (1-4 PQE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Associate (1-4 years' PQE) to join the highly regarded Tax Disputes & Investigations team of a leading international law firm.
This is a chance to work on some of the most complex and high-profile tax disputes in the market, advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, private businesses and high-net-worth individuals on strategically significant matters across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of contentious tax matters, including:

• 
  HMRC enquiries and investigations
• 
  Civil and criminal tax disputes
• 
  Cross-border tax controversies
• 
  Tax litigation and alternative dispute resolution
• 
  Strategic tax risk management
• 
  Complex disputes involving multinational businesses

This is a varied role offering direct client exposure, high-quality work and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across an international platform.

About You

We're looking to speak with lawyers who have:

• 
  A qualifying Law degree (LLB or equivalent), followed by qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
• 
  1-4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
• 
  Experience gained at a leading City, international or large regional law firm
• 
  A background in Tax Disputes, Tax Investigations or Tax Litigation
• 
  Experience advising multinational clients on complex matters
• 
  Excellent technical ability, strong commercial awareness and first-class communication skills
• 
  A genuine ambition to build a career within a top-tier international practice
